Short version: we receive only what you write to us, we use it only to organise your trip, and we never sell or share your data with anyone.
The data we receive
When you contact us by WhatsApp, by email or through the form on the contact page, we receive the information you choose to send us: name, number, travel dates, group composition, and whatever is useful for the organisation (children's ages, dietary requirements, medical conditions you see fit to flag). We collect nothing else.
What we do with it
- Answer your request and prepare your programme.
- Organise the logistics of your trip (guides, camp, transport).
- Contact you about your booking — and only about that.
We send no newsletters, we do no cold outreach, and we never pass your details to third parties for commercial purposes. The strictly necessary information (first names, group size) is shared with the team accompanying you, nothing more.
Cookies and analytics
This is a static website: it sets no advertising cookies and contains no third-party trackers. If a privacy-respecting analytics tool were ever added, this page would be updated before it was switched on.
Retention and deletion
Exchanges linked to a booking are kept for as long as needed to follow up your trip and meet accounting obligations. You can at any time request access to the data concerning you, its correction or its deletion by writing to desert@foumzguid.com — we process the request within a few days, no formalities.
WhatsApp messaging is provided by Meta and subject to its own privacy policy; conversations there are end-to-end encrypted. If you prefer to avoid WhatsApp, email works just as well for booking.
