Cancellation policy

The desert demands flexibility, and we apply it both ways: simple conditions if your plans change, and a full refund if we are the ones who have to cancel.
If you cancel

Exception: for New Year's Eve and Christmas departures (20 December to 2 January), free cancellation is possible up to 30 days before departure — those camps sell out weeks ahead, and a place cancelled late stays empty.
If we cancel
Sometimes the desert decides: a severe sandstorm, a track cut by a flash flood, a weather alert. In that case we first propose a postponement or an alternative route of equivalent value (a night at Erg El Mhazil instead of Chigaga, for example). If no alternative suits you, we refund the sums paid in full, with no deduction.
Change rather than cancel
A change of dates, length or group size is handled free of charge subject to availability — outside holidays it is almost always possible. Write to us as early as you can; the solution is usually found within the day.
