Terms and conditions
Last updated: 2026-08-14
1. The agency
These terms govern the services sold by Désert Foum Zguid, a travel agency established in Foum Zguid, Tata, Morocco . For any question about these terms, write to us via the contact page.
2. The services
We organise tours, circuits, treks and desert-camp nights in the region of Foum Zguid, Erg Chigaga and Lake Iriqui. Each tour page details what is included and what is not; that page, together with your written confirmation, is what defines the content of the service.
3. Prices
Our prices are displayed in euros, per person, on each tour page. They cover exactly what the page's "Included" section lists. Prices displayed at the time of written confirmation are firm: no increase will be applied afterwards, including for holiday dates.
4. Booking and payment
Booking is done by WhatsApp or email, with no intermediary platform. It becomes firm on receipt of our written confirmation, which summarises the programme, dates, group size and total price. A deposit may be requested for certain formats, notably trips starting from Marrakech and holiday dates; its amount and terms are stated in the confirmation. The balance is settled on site, in cash (euros or dirhams) or by bank transfer.
5. Cancellation and changes
Cancellation conditions, on the traveller's side as on ours, are detailed in our cancellation policy. Date-change requests are handled free of charge, subject to availability.
6. Liability and safety
Our trips take place in a Saharan environment: track driving, dunes, changing weather. The guide may adapt the route or schedule for safety reasons (sandstorm, heat, track condition); such adaptations do not constitute a failure to deliver the service. The recommendations to follow on site are described in our safety guide. Participants must flag any relevant medical condition before departure.
7. Insurance
Our prices do not include travel insurance. We strongly recommend a policy covering cancellation, trip interruption and repatriation, taken out in your country of residence before departure.
8. Force majeure
If an external event (administrative closure, major weather event, force majeure) prevents the service, we first propose a free postponement, or failing that a refund of the sums paid for the undelivered service.
9. Personal data
How we handle your data is described in our privacy policy.
10. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Moroccan law. In case of disagreement we will first seek an amicable solution; failing that, the competent Moroccan courts will have jurisdiction.
